Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Break through your treatment-resistant symptoms.
Clinical studies show that up to 70% of patients with treatment-resistant depression experience significant symptom relief after a series of ketamine sessions. (American Journal of Psychiatry, 2021)
What is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy?
An innovative, evidence-based approach that combines the therapeutic use of ketamine with psychotherapy to help people access deep healing and transformation.
Safe, FDA-approved medication traditionally used as an anesthetic. At lower, carefully monitored doses, it can create a unique state of consciousness that makes it easier to explore emotions, memories, and patterns from a new perspective.
When paired with professional therapeutic support, ketamine can act as a catalyst — helping clients break through emotional blocks, soften rigid thought patterns, and access inner healing resources that are otherwise hard to reach through talk therapy alone.
If you’ve been struggling for what feels like forever and nothing seems to help, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy can offer a new path forward. In just a few weeks, it can help you experience the kind of progress that might normally take years with traditional talk therapy.
What Can KAT Help Treat?
Research and clinical practice have shown ketamine-assisted therapy to be effective for a range of mental health conditions, including:
Treatment-resistant depression
Anxiety disorders
PTSD and trauma-related conditions
Suicidal thoughts and ideation
Chronic stress and burnout
OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)
Existential distress (such as in serious or terminal illness)
KAT is particularly helpful for individuals who have tried traditional therapies or medications and found that they didn't provide enough relief.
Ketamine interacts with a neurotransmitter called glutamate, which plays a crucial role in brain communication. By modulating glutamate levels, ketamine enhances the activity of certain brain receptors, leading to improved neural connectivity.
Boosting Brain Communication
Ketamine often produces rapid improvements in mood and symptoms, sometimes within hours to days after treatment.
What to Expect from Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
A Note About Safety
Ketamine is a powerful tool, and like any treatment, it's not right for everyone.
A thorough screening process ensures that ketamine-assisted therapy is a safe and appropriate fit for you. During every step of the journey, your safety, consent, and comfort are our highest priorities.
Step 1: Preparation
Before your first ketamine session, we'll spend time together discussing your goals, intentions, and emotional landscape. Preparation helps you feel safe and supported — and makes the actual experience more meaningful.
Step 2: Ketamine Sessions
During sessions, you’ll receive ketamine through lozenge (oral)
You’ll be in a safe, comfortable environment with therapeutic support throughout the process.
Ketamine often induces a dream-like, introspective state, where new perspectives and emotional breakthroughs can emerge.
Step 3: Integration
After each session, we’ll work together to help you process the experience, connect insights to your daily life, and translate inner discoveries into real-world healing.
Treatment Length:
Most clients undergo an initial series of 6 sessions over 2–6 weeks, followed by integration therapy. Some clients benefit from occasional maintenance sessions afterward, depending on their goals and needs.
After Treatment:
Clients often report:
Rapid reduction in depression and anxiety symptoms
New insights about themselves and their lives
Increased emotional resilience and flexibility
A greater sense of peace, clarity, and connection
Depression can diminish the connections between neurons. Ketamine stimulates the release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that supports the growth and strengthening of these neural connections. This process, known as synaptogenesis, helps restore healthy brain function.
Promoting Neural Growth
Ketamine often produces rapid improvements in mood and symptoms, sometimes within hours to days after treatment.
