She/her
Maybe anxiety and stress have taken up permanent residence - the racing thoughts, the tension that lives in your body, the coping habits that help in the moment but cost you later. Maybe your relationship is caught in the same high-conflict cycle: arguments that escalate fast, trust that hasn't recovered from betrayal, or a distance that's grown familiar. Or maybe it's your family - patterns so entrenched that everyone can predict the fight before it starts, yet no one knows how to stop it.
Beginning therapy is a courageous step, and I believe it should give you more than a place to talk - insight into the "why" behind your patterns, and concrete strategies that stay with you long after our work ends.
My Philosophy
There is no one-size-fits-all structure here: sessions are active, goal-oriented, and tailored to you, warm and supportive without losing direction.
In individual therapy, we build emotional insight alongside practical skills for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, substance use, and self-esteem and relationship challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches — CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic and strengths-based work — to help you regulate emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward stability and confidence.
In couples and family therapy, we go after the cycle itself. Drawing on the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, you'll learn research-supported communication and conflict-management skills while we explore the deeper emotional dynamics driving the pattern — so you can de-escalate, repair more effectively, and rebuild emotional safety and connection. I work with communication breakdowns, high-conflict cycles, rebuilding trust after infidelity, substance use or mental health concerns within the relationship, premarital preparation, parenting stress, and disconnection.
Throughout it all, you can expect a high-touch, highly individualized experience: careful attention, collaborative goals, and a balance of depth and direction.
